I think of this as my song, you know. “I knew a girl; her name was Truth…” The first time I ever heard this line, I got goosebumps. It’s the closest I’ll ever get to having my name in a song. And, as theme songs go, it’s a chillingly accurate one.
Okay, I’ll let you have the song then. It is rather good, though not his best. (Perhaps the live rendition of Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing” being amusing at first, then damn fine.
